ID Campus will be officially inaugurated on January 23, 2026 in Angers, at an event bringing together public sector leaders, industry players, academics, and digital identity entrepreneurs. Led by iDAKTO, a leading provider of sovereign digital identity solutions, ID Campus aims to unite the ecosystem and accelerate collaboration in service of a trusted digital Europe.
Conceived as a European digital identity hub, ID Campus aspires to build an ecosystem of excellence around today’s major challenges: digital trust, cybersecurity, data protection, interoperability, and civic and industrial use cases.
A Strategic Initiative Aligned with European Priorities
Against a backdrop of rapidly expanding digital adoption and strengthening regulatory requirements (eIDAS 2, GDPR), ID Campus positions itself as a unique convergence point for:

As a founding member of ID Campus, iDAKTO brings its technological and industrial expertise and international reach in secure digital identity to the campus. Its contribution exemplifies ID Campus’s ambition: to develop operational, interoperable solutions deployable at scale, for the benefit of citizens, businesses, and institutions. Led by iDAKTO, ID Campus is developed in partnership with French public authorities, particularly France Titres (an agency of the Ministry of the Interior), La Mission French Tech, and Angers Loire Métropole.

ID Campus will host:

- As well as European and international partners.
It will play a key role in structuring pilot projects, training talent, and developing European collaborations, particularly around the deployment of the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet).
